About

Hi I’m Karen.

I’m a meditation teacher, life coach, healer, retreat leader, and the author of 7 Illusions , Meditation Workout: 30 days/ 30 meditations and Awaken: Mindfulness Musings For the Soul.
I aim to promote happiness and wellbeing through the practice of meditation, mindfulness and self-development.

I was born in France and moved to Byron Bay Australia in 2002 to complete my studies in English Literature. As a young child and as a young adult I was struggling with stress, anxiety, and an overthinking mind.

After some powerful healing experiences which showed me that most of my problems came from within myself and that they could be changed, I decided to dedicate myself to the studies of spirituality, meditation and alternative healing. It changed my life completely.

I wasn’t a victim anymore.

I discovered that I had within me the power to change myself and to change my life.

It was the beginning of a new and exciting journey which eventually led me to find finally more balance, more happiness, and a quiet mind!

And the best part is we all have this power!

I can help you find your power, find your inner healer, find your inner warrior. I can guide you on the path to achieve your dream goals. And most importantly I can help you find that peace within you which is worth so much more than any money in the world. I promise you, inner peace is priceless!

I am now a certified Reiki Master, Theta Healing practitioner and regularly teaches meditation and mindfulness in Byron Bay, NSW, via individual sessions or private retreats. I have been a healer, coach and teacher for the past 15 years now and I still love helping and assisting people changing their life!

If you need some guidance but are not in Byron Bay, I can come to you via private online coaching sessions. I will teach you how to master your mind, transcend your fears, quieten your thoughts and find more peace, balance and purpose in your life. Sounds good? You have no idea! Life is so much better when we really start living! Let me help you.

By overcoming our fears and mastering our mind we can truly manifest the life of our dream. We can achieve anything with the right mindset! We just need to learn how to get our mind to work for us instead of being controlled by it!

I also regularly works with corporate groups who are interested in applying the benefits of meditation and mindfulness to their team to achieve a healthier and more productive environment, so if your company is looking for some expertise do not hesitate to contact me.

In 2002 I created BYRON BE, a collection of energetically charged chakra sprays, room sprays and body oils. All are handmade in Byron Bay Australia. They are beautiful gifts for oneself or others. I am very proud of this collection as each product will assist to raise the collective vibration of the planet, as by healing oneself we are healing everyone. You can check it out here: byronbe.com

Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by my blog.
You sound wonderful and happy. My mum is very spiritual and very open. She’s a strong believer that everything happens for a reason, even the bad! This is the only part of spirituality that I struggle with, all the rest I love. I hope your enjoying our country! Many hugs, Paula xxxx

Hi Paula, thanks for visiting my blog! And yes I truly love this country :).
I have the same belief as your mum, I believe everything is perfect, good and bad, which are in the end just a question of perception. I do not regret any of the ‘bad’ times of my life (and there has been plenty!!) as they made me who I am now. I learnt and grow the most during these times. Consider life as a big puzzle, it only makes sense when you`ve got all the pieces. Then you understand that each and everyone of them had a purpose and made perfect sense. Trust the process 🙂 . Many hugs for you too, Karen

Thank you for reading my post, Visit With The Shrink. Sometimes I start doubting my spiritual powers because of all this talk therapy I’m getting. It’s good to write about it so that I can analyze my own beliefs about what’s truly going on in the spiritual planes of existence that I am allowed to be a part of mentally.

    J’aime ton “blog” tres beacoup!

I agree completely with your point that happiness is the key to life – an it is in our control to be happy and make that a priority – look at children. Lots of unlearning to do! Every blessing. =o)
